This is What I Made Yesterday

Oh, look, it’s a new domain! Update your links, and subscribe to my new RSS feed (unsubscribe to the old one, too, because it will be retrieving posts from this blog for a period of time).

Also! I created a new WordPress theme. Tell me what you think, as you’ll probably be stuck with it for another 17 months. I’ve viewed it only in Firefox 3.6 and Internet Explorer 8 on Windows, so you should totally point out any bugs.

P. S. Yes, you now know my middle name.

P. P. S. Happy holidays!

I like the layout :) Except that given the colour scheme, I’m not sure the comment form is meant to be the exact same shade of green as it used to be in the old layout! But that’s the only quirk I’ve noticed.

Alsoooo I’m using Chrome, so I can verify it works in that also :p

Hi Adam, when I clicked on the month of November (or any other month) the layout of your posts did not match your index page. I’m not sure if that’s what you meant to do.

  3. Meg says:

Dude! This is super exciting! I love the simplicity. Is it supposed to be Christmas-themed? :P (Basically, the only quirk I’ve noticed is the same one Jess commented on.) Also, this isn’t a huge deal, but maybe decrease the input/textarea font sizes slightly?

P.S. I like yo’ middle name.
P.P.S. Happy holidays to you too!
P.P.P.S. I stalked your about page and am now following you on Tumblr.

  4. Adam says:

@Jess: Well mainly I suck at colour schemes, and it is supposed to be like this :P

@Kristine: Hmm in my browser, entries look exactly the same whether on the index page or on an archive page. What exactly is different about them?

@Meg: Ahaha, it wasn’t supposed to be Christmassy, but I guess it does appear that way :P

  5. Kristine says:

I think the problem is probably with Safari. Here’s a screen cap: http://www.kristinymd.com/images/adamluke.png

  6. Adam says:

@Kristine: Oh my! Thanks for the screencap. I think I fixed it.

  7. Aisling says:

You did this just so you would be moved to the top of my links page, didn’t you? ;)

  8. Tran says:

Oooooo… me like! Luke, what a lovely name… though lukewarm comes to mind, lol.

  9. Stephanie says:

Cool! It’s very simple and plain, and I like it! Looks fine in Chrome.

  10. nadine says:

I love it! Clean and minimal designs really are the definition of awesome! :)

  11. Amanda says:

From now on, I’m only going to call you Adam Luke. Never just Adam, but always Adam Luke. :P

  12. Adam says:

    @Aisling: You caught me.

@nadine: That works out well, because my skills aren’t advanced enough to do anything but that, haha.

  13. Amanda says:

I’m not a fan of the green and yellow, but everything else looks lovely to me. Also, I’m a fan of the name Luke. Well, more so Lucas, but close enough ;)

  14. Manda says:

Oohh, I like this theme! Also, in my attempt at unsubscribing your old blog in my feed reader, I ended up translating your feed to Chinese. I thought you would find this amusing :P
