I won’t take the time to see any of the Pixar movies in theaters, but once out on DVD I have to say that I’ve enjoyed all of the movies they’ve put out. I would say watch Cars, it’s a pretty good story.

@Meg: Heh, I'm quite the opposite, and am always in awe of pretty graphics and effects (my enjoyment of Avatar is a prime example of this).

I haven’t seen Cars or Up, and I’m in no hurry to go see Toy Story 3, either. I don’t know, I’ve just never seen the appeal in animated movies — I’d rather see real people acting and displaying emotion than even the best animation and visual effects in the world!

I haven’t seen Toy Story 3 yet, but I’m planning to watch #1 and #2 in the coming week in preparation. Your verdict definitely gives me some high expectations for #3! And you’re the first person I’ve talked to who might share my opinion that Finding Nemo was too kiddy and hence detracted from its appeal.

I’m not sure I’ll like Toy Story 3. The trailers didn’t really give me a clear idea on what the plot would be like and the bits and pieces didn’t interest me. So I might or might not watch it. But you really have to see Cars! It just has such an amazing story line to it.
