@Manda: I generally work on weekends, but have days off during the week instead. There's more to do/keep me busy at the job I work at on the weekend, so it's all good! @Clem: Oh yeah, that's a lot to do. You work longish shifts, too, so full/almost full days off are rare, I imagine! @Desiree: Haha, I almost feel bad whinging, when you, for instance, have had far busier weeks than I have! But yes, money is alluring, and it's too hard to turn down extra shifts because of it. @Lucy: Oh my, I don't know how you managed, either! Doing that every week is really an excellent effort! I know I'd get so behind with everything, especially study.

Since I entered college, I didn’t get to watch Glee. I watched until the 4th episode, and then since I don’t have cable in my apartment near my campus, I can’t watch it :(

But wow, getting $450 is awesome. I do need a job, as I am currently financially disabled :( I should probably cut down on my spendings.

That describes my university life so perfectly, only I worked about 35 hours every week. How I handled an almost full-time job with full-time studies was beyond me. I had no social life, and little time for sleep. In the end, I guess it was worth it. I wouldn’t do it again, though.

I’ve heard a million good things about Glee, so I might have to check out the pilot as well. Let us know what you think of it!

Oh dear D: I hope you make the most of your day off! I still haven’t quite gotten the hang of juggling work and uni, let alone any attempt at a social life. I’d love to just concentrate on my studies and have time to go out, but the lure of money is too great…

Glee is very addictive. Even if the show itself is an over-the-top high school drama, I love the musical covers and energy of it xD

Aaaaurghhh. Same here about being busy (in fact, my hundreds of pages of reading due tomorrow are the exact reason why I’m procrastinating online now). And same here about needing sleep. My roommate is one of those people who never seems to need sleep — she logs anywhere between 3-6 hours of sleep every night and is always completely fine. I don’t understand. She must not be human.

I’m fortunate, I only have to work. No school for me! I don’t know how I did it back then and how people do it now. I’m happy with my 40 hour a week job!

I watched a bit of Glee, and while it wasn’t my style of tv show, It was like a train wreck lol I couldn’t look away.
