Running!
I made a decision to do more running. Unfortunately, it's -10 C outside right now, so I've been confined to the treadmill. (I do prefer running barefoot though, so I guess the treadmill isn't so bad.) The first days went okay, and ever since, my running has declined... and the quality of excuses has also declined. Now I resort to "But I don't really want to wash my hair..."

Maybe I'll pick it up when I can run outside in my socks without my toes changing colours and falling off. curse you, canada..

I prefer fast walking to running, mainly because running tends to kick up all the pollen and set off my allergies, and then it takes days to settle down even with medication. I'm sort of envious and impressed that you're setting a running regime! It's heading into autumn slowly, so the weather should make it more conducive to running!

@April: 43, oh my! It's in the 30s at the moment here, so I haven't been able to run. Well, I could, but it would be kind of torturous! Also, the armband is a good idea; hadn't thought of that!

@Kaylee: I guess one of the advantages of running is that I don't have to do it for too long; walking can get boring, but running has more benefits in a shorter amount of time? Also I fail at sport! Oh, and I bought proper shorts now, so that's good I guess.

I find running for a long time to be so boring D: I like playing sports or having a practice a lot more because the running involved usually has a purpose, which makes it a lot more fun :P

Shorts with a belt? I can't imagine someone running in that! lol.

Good luck getting into a routine!

Props to you for starting a running regime! I have a tendency to hyperventilate when I start running (so, um, obviously I don't do it often) but I really should look at going for walks every evening or something...

Omg. You ran outside. Thank god you aren't in QLD atm...the temp today was 42oC!!
All I can say is, GOOD WORK! If you buy one of those ipod holders to put around your arm, they work really well. My iPod classic is amazng but I agree its a bit big but the armbands work really well.

Keep up running. Its good. And because its hot, you'll sweat more. And that means you get to drink more powerade and that stuff is yummy.
